The VIII MuSkITYR Symposium will take place on 2–3 November 2026 in Hamburg, bringing together early-career researchers and established scientists for two days of scientific exchange and networking.
The programme features keynote lectures by Tim Rolvien and Sara Checa, alongside interactive mentoring sessions on topics including scientific writing, science communication, and career development.
Abstract submission is open until 1 September, and registration closes on 14 September. Participation is welcome with or without an abstract. Registration includes accommodation at the Hamburg Youth Hostel and meals throughout the symposium.
This year’s meeting also marks a special milestone for our Cluster: Conny Schneider, researcher and Head of Science Communication at LBI Trauma, has been part of the MuSkITYR organising team for several years and will serve as MuSkITYR Speaker for the first time in 2026, taking on the scientific leadership of the symposium.
We warmly encourage everyone interested in musculoskeletal research to join the MuSkITYR community in Hamburg.
