The European Society for Artificial Organs will hold its 44th congress together with the International Federation for Artificial Organs on September 6th to 9th in the lecture halls of the Vienna General Hospital.
Researchers, developers and clinical specialists which are involved in the development and application of artificial and bio-artificial organs and tissue are invited to attend, present and discuss. Topics will also include biocompatibility, drug delivery, nanotechnology, organ printing and robotics. There will be an emphasis on the functional stimulation of nerves and muscles and the development of intelligent limb prostheses. The abstract submission has been extended until March 31st.
